Abbie – Shreveport Senior Photographer

Kevin and I have another fun senior session to share with you today! We first met Abbie when we met up with Lauren for her senior session.  Abbie tagged along to be her best friend’s “prop.”  (I think that was a GREAT idea!  I so wish I had been able to include my two best friends into my senior shoot…which seems like a thousand years ago…)  We were thrilled when Abbie sent us an email after Lauren’s session to book a session! (And she brought Lauren along to be her prop this time!)  Just like her bestie, Abbie was a natural in front of the camera!

Check out Abbie’s “model” face in this next picture! Rock it, girl!

Of course, every senior session should have at least one outfit change…

And we’ll end with a couple of our favorite pictures from the session!

Abbie, thanks for a wonderful session! Good luck at Tech next year! Blogstalkers, if you know of a senior looking for a photographer, give them our info! We’d LOVE to shoot more senior sessions! And check back tomorrow for part 1 of Margaret and Morgan’s wedding!

Um, WOW. You guys really killed this senior session. Just slayed it all to pieces. I’m seriously impressed, because seniors are something I have a REALLY hard time with. This girl looks absolutely stunning and easy and natural. Gorgeous, and age-appropriate. Be VERY proud of this session, my friends, it’s stellar!ReplyCancel

Thanks for taking such great photos of my daughter. I think she is beautiful, but you captured her personality in photographs in a way I have not seen before. Thanks again.ReplyCancel

Morgan & Margaret – Shreveport Wedding Photographer

This past Saturday, Nicole and I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding! The location was beautiful, the details were perfect, and the bride was gorgeous! We shared a few sneak peek images over on our facebook page, and today we are sharing a few extra sneak peeks! Lots more from this beautiful wedding will be on the blog later this week, so make sure to stop back by! Until then, enjoy!

Lauren – Shreveport Senior Portrait Photographer

On Sunday afternoon, we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful young lady celebrating the end of her senior year! When Lauren contacted us about senior pictures, we couldn’t have been more excited! Senior sessions are SO MUCH FUN! (Note to all seniors: Shoot us an email! We’d love to set up a session for you!) As a bit of a photographer herself, Lauren was up for anything! We met up in downtown Shreveport to start the session. Lauren really wanted to make sure she was herself in her photos. Who can blame her? This girl is GORGEOUS!

Lauren brought along a great “prop”…her best friend, Abby! These girls were a hoot! They obviously have a lot of fun together!

As the sun began to lower on the horizon, we moved to a new location with an outfit change!

Lauren, thanks for being up for anything and for bringing such a great attitude to the session! Good luck at Mississippi State next year! Blogstalkers, thanks for stopping by! Be sure to leave a comment letting Lauren know just how much she rocked her session! We would LOVE to do more senior sessions in the future, so, if you know of someone graduating, send them our way!

Etsy Finds

It’s officially the spring season! While I love the winter (when we actually get one!), spring can be a beautiful time of the year! (Fingers crossed that scorching hot temperatures aren’t hitting us any time soon, and we can enjoy the transitional weather!) With spring in mind, I have found some beautiful stuff on Etsy lately!  With that said, here’s a few items I’ve had my eye on… (As usual, click on the name of the item to go directly to the item’s page or click on the name of the Etsy seller to see their entire store!)

1. First up are these beautiful teacup bracelets by Stay Gold Mary Rose! This Etsy seller repurposes old teacups and creates bracelets with them! This is a way to truly get a unique piece of jewelry!

2. In keeping with the teacup theme, check out these cupcake stands made from vintage china!  They’re made by High Tea for Alice!

3. This next find was inspired by my sister, Jenny.  She was telling me about all these neat ways to organize jewelry that she found on Pinterest.  So, off I went to Etsy and found this necklace organizer by The Barn Owl Boutique!  I LOVE this idea for organizing my necklaces!  Jewelry boxes just don’t cut it!

4. Looking for a beautiful hair accessory?  Maybe even for your wedding day?  This gorgeous hair comb by lonkoosh might be just what you’re looking for!

5. This fun wedding invitation by When and Where Invites simply makes me smile!  The included lollipop is just too cute!

Thanks for checking in today!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fun senior session!

Kenner & Kullen visit Shreveport!

My nephews, Kenner and Kullen, came up to Shreveport along with their parents to visit us this past weekend!  We were incredibly excited to get to spend some time with the boys in our home.  We definitely don’t get to see them enough!  So, we were thankful that my sister and brother-in-law were willing to brave the 4.5 hour drive from my hometown to here with two 14 month olds!  While they were here, we took the boys out to grab a few spring photos.  They’re typically not very cooperative at the same time (one is looking while the other is in la-la land or vice versa!).  But we managed to grab a few cute images!  (My sister is already planning her print purchase, so we take that as a good sign!)  Enough talking…on to the pictures…

Jenny and Mitch, thanks again for bringing the boys up to Shreveport! We loved being able to spend the weekend with them!
