Margaret’s Bridal Session – Shreveport Wedding Photographer

Today, we’re sharing pictures from Margaret’s post-wedding bridal session!  In case you didn’t see it already, be sure to check out pictures from their wedding (click HERE and HERE) because it was absolutely beautiful!  For Margaret’s bridals, we drove out to the same location we shot their engagement photos.  It’s such a great place for photos!  And, since Margaret is such a great sport, we’re already planning on going back to try a little something extra fun!  But, for now, take a look at Margaret and her gorgeous self…

This next photo is FIERCE!

Margaret made sure to have a boat for a few fun photos. This was actually the first shot snapped before we realized there were ants in the boat! We ran out of light very quickly at this point in the session…which was a total bummer!

Thanks for being such a blast, Margaret! We’re looking forward to our next photo shoot! Blogstalkers, check back on Wednesday for photos from a recent family session!

I’m so in love with that location. I want it for my own. The close up portraits of Margaret sitting on the dock are my very favorites from this session… they’re stunning!ReplyCancel

CeCe and Cassidy – Shreveport Children’s Photographer

Good morning! Today, we’re sharing a few images from a recent session with two cousins, CeCe and Cassidy! These two were more interested in playing than having their photo taken, but we managed to get a few cute shots! Enjoy!

And we’ll end with a photo of them together!

Thanks for stopping by! Check back on Wednesday to see another fun senior session!

Happy birthday, Mom!

We celebrated my mom’s 50th birthday this weekend by taking her on a long weekend trip to a place she’s never been…Disneyland! She’s been to Disney World several times and loves it there. So, when thinking about awesome ways to celebrate her 50th, a trip to Disneyland was the easy choice!

We ended up having a larger group than expected. Of course, my mom and youngest sister came along…

Two things…1) My other sister, Jenny, and her family couldn’t make it, so this isn’t a complete family photo.  2) Yes, I am rocking an AWESOME DuckTales t-shirt (woo-oo!).

We were also joined by several of the Bergs!  Matt, Kevin (of course!), Kennie, and their dad all came for the fun, too!  (Seriously, if you plan a Disney trip around the Bergs, they’re going to tag along!  They can’t help themselves!  But, honestly, who can blame them?)

We also had to grab a quick photo of my mom by herself in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.

And Kevin and I had to grab our standard “smile in front of the castle” photo, too!  (And, yes, this is awesome t-shirt #2!  I Heart Dinosaurs!)

While on this trip, we ran into Minnie sporting a new outfit!  Doesn’t she look lovely?

And one final photo of my mom on her first visit to Disney’s California Adventure!

We didn’t take many photos as this trip was about spending time with family, but we grabbed the “must-haves.” It was a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone in my mom’s life. Happy birthday again, Mom!

Morgan & Margaret – Part 2 – Shreveport Wedding Photographer

It’s time for Part 2 of Morgan & Margaret’s wedding! (See part 1 here!) We left off with the happy couple having a few pre-ceremony pictures taken! We are starting today with some portraits of the lovely bride and the bridal party!

Time for the ceremony! Margaret was escorted down the aisle by her father and her son! How cute is it that he’s waving!

Man and wife!!!

A few images from the 5 minute rule! These two were just so happy to be married!

The bridal party was introduced and then the happy couple made their grand entrance and went straight into their first dance!

Right as the sun was going down we took Morgan and Margaret outside for some sunset portraits!

It was an absolutely beautiful night!

I am a pretty manly man. I’ve never cried or teared up at a wedding, but I came very close at this one! During the reception a special song was played in memory of Margaret’s mother, and it was a beautiful moment filled with hugs and love.

Morgan and Margaret, thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day! Your wedding was a blast!

Morgan & Margaret Part 1- Shreveport Wedding Photographer

Morgan and Margaret were married this past Saturday, and we were lucky to be a part of their special day! They were married at Los Paloma in Benton, Louisiana.  Los Paloma was an amazing venue!

The inside of the venue is just as beautiful as the outside!!!

There were so many amazing details to this wedding…

The stunning floral arrangements were done by Chinaberry’s in Bossier City, LA.  We would totally brag about how beautiful the floral arrangments were even if we didn’t happen to know the florist personally!

As an alternative guestbook, Morgan and Margaret had their guest “leaf” a thumbprint! Such an inventive and personal touch!

I’ll admit that it was quite difficult for me not to grab this white LSU helmet and take off running! Seriously, I may have planned how to grab the helmet and run without being noticed!

Margaret’s bouquet was wrapped with cloth from her mother’s wedding day attire! It was a very touching addition to her bouquet!

This sweet couple opted for a First Look!

Nicole normally comments on how great a bride’s shoes are, and, while Margaret rocked both high heels and cowgirl boots, I was pretty impressed by Morgan’s ostrich boots!

And we’ll end part 1 with a kiss!

Check back tomorrow for part 2!!!
